Reward

Any of you that know our little Marchal know that he is a little wiggle worm/lawyer in training.  Meaning he can't sit still and like to argue his points.  He had had a few issues in class where he has been spoken too about staying in his seat, not blurting out and most important not arguing with the teacher.  Not arguing as far as being disrespectful but trying to get his point across. So we told him if he could get no marks on his behavior chart for a full week he could ride his bike to school.  It took a few weeks for him to accomplish this task so he was so excited when he finally was able to do it. 

We originally told him he could ride to school on Monday but then it was raining so Wednesday was the BIG day.  Last night he was all prepared.  He laided out his clothes, found his bike lock and helmet and had them all ready to go.  In the morning he got his dad to check the tires, tighten his seat and then he had a few test runs around the neighborhood.

With Dad ready to go off they went........I had to drive Hannah to school so she could be there early for some school stuff so I waited in the car to see him ride up.  I wish I had my zoom lens so you all could see the huge smile on his face.  He was so happy.  He rode right up to the bike ramp and put his lock on his bike and off he went to play on the recess field before school.  I would say he was one happy camper.  lol. 

I love how the small things make our kids the happiest.
