Christmas Day!!!!

The whole Huchette Crew was very excited to have Christmas FINALLY arrive.  The kids woke up at 4AM! REALLY and I quickly went to their room (since Granny was sleeping in Hannah's, Marchal and Hannah were sleeping in Marchal's bunk bed's) and told them to not even think about getting up until they saw the sun.  lol. Thankfully the "Under the tree goodies" were downstairs so they didn't get a sneak peak of their new treasures.
When the sun did finally come up the kids woke us up and then headed to wake Granny up.  We put our tree at the top of our stairs because we had more room in our cozy little home and when Marchal went to look under the tree he was no happy.  I had to capture his face because it was so funny.  He really thought he didn't get anything for Christmas.   I know Bad Parents, Bad Parents, but it was really funny.
We finally headed downstairs, dogs n all.  And we were able to see the surprised faces and get thankful hugs.  Our kids only get three presents under the tree so they make sure it is something they REALLY want.  We were blessed this year to be able to get their list checked off.

Hannah had on her list make-up to play around with and have when she has some girlfriends over, littest pet shop pets since she gave all of hers away to her friend who had none and a mattress foam pad.  This made me chuckle when she was a baby she would not even sleep in her bed unless it was super soft and she sunk into it.  Such a princess. But don't tell her I said that.  She also got a eye glass necklace I had been looking out for a couple of months.  We all know Hannah loves her glasses.  And of course a stocking full of CANDY.
Marchal's list was a Lego Boat, Tech Deck(finger skateboards) and a collection of fire department, police, and construction cars.  He had for months talked about the Pirates of the Caribbean Lego boat he wanted for Christmas but one night we went into Walgreen's and he saw this battleship generic Lego type toy and flipped out of it.  So Marc and I had to go back and get it for him. He has had hours of bath time fun with it.

Granny, Marc and I were able to open our gifts and we all exchanged our "homemade gift" to each other.

Gifts made by Marc to the kids(Marchal got a picture to show off his abs-lol, And Hannah got an Adele CD-which she sings around the house all time.)
Marchal's shirt Hannah made him and Granny got a photo album full of photos from her trip to see us
Marc and I got hats made by Granny.  LOVE
Our gifts from Hannah, thanks to our neighbors for suppling corks and hot glue.
 Keychains made by Marchal.
Gifts from me to the kids, Marchal a bank painted by me and a bookmark for Hannah since she enjoys reading so much.
Once the presents were all open, and breakfast was made, we just relaxed, Granny knitted, the kids played, Marchal had a whole city under our table built, and Hannah has a whole town of littest pet shops but the back door.  We had a great day just really doing nothing.  I was thankful for not having to hop in the car and go from house to house.  We were able to just stay at home.  AH!
