Caring

Being a stay at home mom and doing just that, staying at home, makes some of the smallest duties sometimes a luxury.  Hench getting the mail.  We don't have mailboxes like most of you in front of your houses we have mailboxes sort of like at the post office but at the beginning of our road.  So you have a key and have to walk to the box to get your mail.  This is my favorite part of the day. Who out there doesn't like getting mail.  My favorite things to get are Netflix movies, cards from friends/family(hint, hint, wink, wink) and magazines of course.  So today when I opened our box it was a double bonus.  I got a Netflix movie(the Pacific-HBO series Marc and I are watching together, I don't usually like war movies but the history behind it is great, and I heart history) and then I received a card from our new church.
Honestly, we have only been attending church at Rolling Hills Community Church for about 4 months so I was so not excepting anything.   But they have gone far and above what we expected.  While I was in Alabama with my mom they called to check on Marc who was still here. Offered meals, prayer, etc.  Marc was taken back and now I am that the Pastors and Leaders would take time out of their busy schedules to send me a card.  I know how churches run and how busy they are coming from a 1300 member church.  Rolling Hills is a church double that.  Such a small act has sowed a great harvest. 
Thank you Lord for guiding us to Rolling Hills.  You knew exactly where we needed to be.
