Mt. Hood, Ah....Heaven

Finally, we have an afternoon that is rain free so we of course have to get out of the house.  We hopped in the car and headed straight to our favorite place, Mt. Hood.  As we are driving by all the waterfalls, hiking trails, roaring waters, mountains, we all start dreaming of when we can finally get out there and go camping.  Of course for now we will have to wait.  We enjoyed a day of hiking the lake side since we explored the rapid side last time.  We also headed to Bagby Hot Springs afterwards.  It was full of people so we planned on going back during the week in hopes we can actually take them in.
Here we go...Thought the sign was kinda funny.  We didn't see any heavy equipment but, we did see alot of downed trees.
 So beautiful.
Levi went with us and as you can see he is smiling.  Ah
Moss covered tree, and the kids walking through the fern forest.
The boys skipping rocks, floating tree, and some kind of yellow fungus growing on the tree.

Mushrooms on a tree, Hannah eating lunch and my two favorite guys.

This tree had no bark and completely signed, the kids feeling the hot springs

Can't wait until Spring gets here so we can pop up a tent and roast marshmallows.  I can smell them now....yum.
