Since there is so much to do at the coast we choose to stay for the weekend instead of driving back and forth to see it all. We found a great house across from the coast in Yachats(Ya-Hots) Oregon. It was just the cutest little town. It have shops, little diners, grocery store, everything you would need.
We enjoyed home cooked dinners, walks on the beach looking for star fish and other marine life, drives to the two nearby light houses, playing at the park, sleeping in and looking out for whales. Which we didn't see any of. Darn it.
