Marc and I have been talking since we moved to our new home about starting a garden. When we moved here we notice there was a community garden up the road within walking distance of the house. I think community garden and think we give a percentage of our food the the community but that is not how it works. It really was set up by a gentleman whose wife died and he does it in her memory. It is a garden where people come and work together to set up the garden boxes, lay down the gravel, share gardening tips, etc.
We planted corn, green beans, carrots, broccoli, zucchini, peppers, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, and lettuce. Can't wait to go pick some fresh organic veggies for dinner. Yum.

I have always loved the community garden concept. Wish there was something like that around here. I know there is a church garden at Millbrook Baptist and it always looks great. Keep posting pictures, I would like to see how it turns out.
