Mirror Lake

We are back!  I know my husband is happy to have us back in the same house once again.  With it being our first weekend back we wanted to go hiking.  We tried to go to Mirror Lake back when my mom came to visit but there was still ice on the path and they had not opened it.  We figured we would go before the ice came again. 

 It was a mile and half hike up a mountain and then the reward.....

 Mt. Hood.  So beautiful. 

 Once we walked around it we sat down and had our lunch.  The kids took their shoes off and played in the water trying to catch Crawfish.  No luck of course. 

When the kids were done trying to become fisherman we headed downward, hankfully this time back to the car. 

And someone is exhausted!  hehe.
