Much Needed Momma Time!!!!

So after having my kids by myself (meaning hubby was back in Oregon), momma needed a break. lol. Some adult time with no interruption from little people. You moms know what I mean. With my moms agreement to keep the kids at the beach for the weekend while I had my momma time I headed to Gulf Shores to meet my friends and their husbands for a great time. We all met up on Friday night. It kinda felt like we were in a movie all sitting around waiting for each other to show up. Or at least it did to me.
Once we all go there the girls headed to the grocery store to grab our munchies for the weekend and the boys headed....... well I don't remember where they headed, lol. We unloaded the car then all put on our suits, grabbed the radio and jumped in the pool. We had lots of stories, laughter, food, and then it all ended for me at 10pm when I started to feel sick. I spent the entire next day in and out of bed(actually didn't feel better until that following Monday). We had a whole day planned for the beach and the guys went golfing. But, I had to stay home. Darn It! Once everyone came home we pulled out the grill and watched Couples Retreat-BOOM(so funny anyway, but even funnier with a group of married people). We woke up to Sunday with a breakfast casserole coming out of the oven thanks to my friend chef April and then cleaned up, pack up and headed to end the weekend eating lunch at a local Mexican restaurant. YUM.

The weekend was just what I needed. Even if I didn't get to go to the beach with the girls. I got to spend the weekend with them. Thanks again mom for watching my little ones and esp Thanks to the Jones family for sharing their beach house.
