As most of you know we moved to Oregon from Alabama. It has been hard to be away from our friends. Esp, our children. So they and their friends were super excited to see each other once again. They had a blast swimming, riding scooters, making those darn duck tape creations, playing super heroes, etc. To see my children have so much fun made me feel so blessed for them. I hope they remain friends with their Alabama pals for a life time. Hopefully we will be able to visit home once a year to rekindle those friendships! I know most of my kids friends mothers would appreciate that. lol.
I too, had a great time rekindling my friendships. I am one blessed women when it comes to friends. Not because I have alot of friends but because the bond and strength of them. To say I cherish them is really not enough. Even though we talk on the phone, keep up on facebook, text, etc it is not the same as being able to hug and share a laugh face to face. That gives me something to look forward to in the future. And helps make the time we do spend together cherished.
It is amazing how blessed our family is!
:)you havent seen me cry in a while- is that what your up to here??? But, ditto- lifelong friendships, atleast once a year visits and its soo not the same being able to see you guys anytime we want to!
