We had a fun filled-busy Easter this year.
We started our weekend on Good Friday with great friends dying eggs. The kids were excited to spend some time with their friends. So after a yummy dinner and filled our bellies with sugary sweets, we let the fun begin. We tried two new versions; kool aid and natural organic. Marchal seemed to be on a mad rush to get his eggs in every color instantly not thinking that the other kids needed to use the color. lol. We found that if you let the eggs sit for a couple of minutes in each color they are more vibrant and if you dip half of them in color them flip the other end into another color it looks pretty cool. They even dipped them in several colors. It felt like a science experiment. After the fun from dying the eggs, the kids went on to playing with their friends so the adults could chat a bit. Then we noticed the moon was beautiful and they pulled out their telescope so that everyone could take a look. We called it a night when everyone had a turn so we could go home and get ready for our egg hunt the next day.
