The day had arrived for the city Egg Hunt. Marchal was super excited. Hannah not so much since this is the first year she was over the age limit. We talked with Marchal about sharing his loot and he agreed. We made plans to meet our friends that morning so once we found them, Marchal and his friend Liam came up with a plan to grab the most eggs and we heard the starting bang and off they went. Marchal grabbed two prize eggs that were stuffed animals which he gave to his sister and his friends sister. Then his friend gave him one of his toy prizes so they both would have one. Sweet! After they grabbed their prizes and the girls picked out the BIGGEST stuffed animals they had(lol) we went to watch the babies go on their first hunt. It was so cute to see them. The kids then begged us to let them go see the animals(chickens, goats, cows, bunnies, etc) so we headed that way.
What a beautiful day it was; warm and sunny. I heard later that it is never like that here at Easter. So what a gift it was for us to have a nice day to hunt eggs and enjoy the outside.
