From my earlier post you may remember Hannah was getting ready for her 5th grade track meet. Her entire class met up with other schools in the area to participate in various track events. Hannah had three she signed up for; high jump, 200 meter dash and the one where you throw the ball(lol I never can remember the name of it). When the even first started the kids were told to go where they signed up and then they would rotate to their other events, but if the girls had sign up to throw the ball thing-lol, they were to do that first. Well, Hannah wouldn't listen to her parents and headed straight to the high jump so when she finally finished that it was too late to do the other one. Oh well. She did great in her other events placing 2nd in the high jump, 1st in the 200 meter dash and although her team did not win the relay they placed 6th.
The best time of the entire event for us was when Hannah finished the 200 meter dash the cross country coach headed straight to us wanting Hannah on his team next year. We had discussed her joining the team before hand so when the coach confirmed it she was excited! Marc was one proud daddy since he ran cross country too. Can't wait until next year to see my baby girl run.
