This year has been so different from last year. Last year we were trying to get use to living in a completely new environment, with our new home state. Now we have our feet planted and ready to run at every opportunity we get.
Thankfully our new friends the Burns, invited us to their annual Halloween Party. Woop Woop. I was not going to dress up this year but since we were going to a party, why not. Marc was going out of town so it was just me and the kids. Hannah dressed up again as a Broadway dancer,Marchal choose his Ninja suit(since he didn't want to wear his mask the whole time) and I, well I used my daughter as my inspiration and dressed up like a NERD. Not that she is a nerd but it is her favorite character to transform into. lol. Anyone who really knows here knows this.
Once we got there the kids saw their friends and took off to play until we started up the Halloween fun. Which meant the adults could chat and snack.

When the Halloween fun started the kids had a pumpkin seed spit contest, made candy apples, and bobbed for Apples in freezing cold water(lol). We figured Hannah would have won the pumpkin spit contest since she is a tomboy and the tallest but sadly she did the worst-lol. Marchal came in second. Bobbing for apples Hannah again did not do well, she refused as I would to put her face all the way down into the cold water and tried to use her lips to suck up the apple and had no luck. Marchal did the opposite. He just stuck his head in the water not trying to get an apple but to see how cold the water was. hehe. Not sure why he couldn't just put his finger in the water. He had such a hard time getting his apple with not front teeth but thankfully with some persistence he succeeded.
Hannah said she was so stuffed that she may go home and pass out. I jokingly said why don't you go run around the block which turned into ALL the kids running around the block. Which lead to again the adults being able to chat and snack. =D.

We ended the night with once again bath's, PJ's and bed time stories. After all that fun they needed some rest.
