Learning to Knit

Granny came to see us a couple of years ago and Hannah was 6 at the time and wanted to learn to knit. She did good then but her attention was not all there.  Which is normal of course!  So when Granny came this time Hannah was eager to try again.  Attention in full mode to sit and focus she sat all day knitting and getting Granny to help her fix her mistakes.  I was so amazed at the patience Granny had to keep helping her and instructing her on the same mistake time and time again.  I hope that when I hit my Senior years I am as patient as she is.  Marchal even said he wanted to learn so Granny took him under her wing and showed him some tricks.  We will see if he keeps it up.  Hannah has a goal to finish her scarf before she goes back to school. I sure hope she keeps up with it.  Maybe she can teach me too.
