Live Manger

We saw it last year and kept wanting to stop by so this year I made it a point to take a trip to see the live manger.  Marchal had mentioned he had never seen a real sheep so of course I had to take him.  I think the donkey whose name was Theodore was the sweetest animal I have ever encountered.  He kept wanting to snuggle and you will see he is even smiling in one of the pictures with Marchal.  So sweet.  The sheep kind of looked at us like we were crazy.  One of them had the biggest eyes I had ever seen.  lol. They had Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus in the corner and even had a button you can push to hear the real story of Christmas.  I thought that was pretty nice.  I had to literally pull the kids to the car they did not want to leave.  So I would say it was a pretty good idea.  Bonus mommie points. 

If I had a backyard I would have thought about taking him home. lol.
