This was the first step to becoming ME today. I look at this girl and think she has no idea what the future holds. At that moment she was in love, about to visit California for the first time, she had the best friends in the whole world, she was about to have her first real full time job, buy her first car, she would go through a horrible tragedy, go to college, move out of her family home, etc. Gosh sometimes when I think back at my journey to becoming the woman I am today I wonder how I made it. But I am who I am today for those experiences and would not change it for anything.
